This is not just a fancy cover for your E30's factory carpeted foot rest. In fact, it is intended to be completely functional and was engineered to be a solid point the driver could place their foot and brace themselves in the seat to maintain control during hard cornering, thus freeing up the right foot to carefully modulate the throttle for a clean exit!
